Frankfurt am Main is in the centre of the larger Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region, which has a population of about 5,600,000 and is Germany's second-largest metropolitan region. Frankfurt is an international centre for finance, commerce, culture, transport, education, and tourism.

From “Franconovurt” (city of franks) to centre of economy -
How has Frankfurt become what it is today?

This guided tour will show you the most popular places of Frankfurt - starting with the glorious past up to the present. It will take you from the Frankfurt Cathedral past the City Hall "Römer", Saint Paul's Church, home to Germany's first parliament, and Bethmann Bank to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Rothschild Bank.

For more vivid history, a visit of the Goethe-House, birthplace of Frankfurt’s favourite son, and of the Historical Museum are included in this tour.
